At the incredibly young age of just 7 days old you were forced to fight for your life.
The pain you endured still brings tears to my eyes...
You were put on life support...& had open heart surgery at 10 days old...
Our lives were turned upside down in a blink of an eye...
But you're proof that miracles do happen. You fought for your life -- and you won. You overcame endless obstacles - achieving milestone after milestone, goal after goal. With each passing moment on the clock your heart became stronger & stronger. Within weeks we knew, without a doubt, that you had the will to survive.
And now, here we are. 5 1/2 yrs later. You have no developmental delays. You've been running full speed ahead since the day you learned how to walk.
And your cardiologist has given you full permission to participate in some sports, something he originally said you'd "never" be able to do.
Never say never, right?
On Saturday 2/27/10 you joined a gym class. For the very first time!

Miracles DO happen & Kyle is a perfect example as well as a perfect child. Doctors can only guess at what the future will bring & nothing is going to stop Kyle from being the best at everything and anything he wants to be. He has both of his parents to be thankful for that. You are both raising 2 perfect children in more ways than one. Great job!!!
Kyle is a miracle! For the life of me, I couldn't figure out what kind of "box" baby Kyle was being kept in in the first few pics. Ten I realized it's not a box at all, it's a picture of a picture. Man, that was confusing! Haha.
Aweseom picture so fKyle in gymnastics class- he is going to LOVE that!!!
Nothing is more heart breaking then to have a child that is one moment perfect in every way- and then the next being air lifted to a hospital. As I sat there watching your parents support each other it was then that I realized how special we all were to have you in our lives. For me I thought the greatest moment was holding you in my arms just seconds after you were born- but then I realized that every moment I have with you forever is special. You brighten my day, lighten my heart and are just this bundle of energy that makes everyone smile. Love Nana
