42 Rounds Ave Comes To Life..

Dear Kyle & Isabella,
Although the weather has been absolutely, positively GORGEOUS over the past few days we must keep reminding ourselves that we live in New England. This means that while it may FEEL like Spring, it's NOT Spring-time just yet. For all we know we could wake up to a foot of snow in the morning...
That being said, we are FULLY enjoying this lovely weather. The temps have been in the low 60's (which feels more like the high 70's after suffering through a long, brutally cold winter!), the sun has been shining & the sky has been a picture perfect blue since Saturday.
I should note here that all winter long we only ventured outside on an "as needed" basis. We've basically been cooped up indoors since last Halloween. As a result, things were pretty quiet around here...until this past weekend...when we got a taste of Spring & 42 Rounds Ave came to life again!
Yep....I'm sure our neighbors are already missing the peace that comes only when my family is forced to be stuck indoors.

We ventured outside around 9:30a on Saturday morning & within minutes every toy was thrown out on the lawn, the tarp was taken off of the sandbox & the tree fort was "re-opened".

By Saturday afternoon the temp had hit 60 degree's. After growing his hair out all winter, Daddy always shaves it off as soon as the temp hits 60. This year was no exception. He took off his hair, then he took off yours, Kyle!

The sun was bright & blinding --- we all loved feeling it on our faces!

Bella, you did get some sun but those rosy cheeks have nothing to do with it. Unfortunately we think you're teething. Fevers, constant diaper changes & a nasty diaper rash have dominated your life for the past few days. You're pretty darn miserable but we're doing our best to keep you as comfortable as we can.

The odds of you two goobers striking the same exact pose at the same exact time are pretty slim..yet somehow you guys managed to do it!
We sure are looking forward to all of the nice days that are in the near future! Hope our neighbors have their ear plugs handy though..between kids laughing, crying & playing, in addition to the insane amount of vehicles - cars/atv's/dirt bikes/powerwheels, things are bound to get noisy. I still say we are the LOUDEST family on our street & I sympathize with those neighbors who have already done their time & raised their families..when we're just beginning :) Who know's though, maybe they sympathize with us???
