We really lucked out with the weather - it was a beautiful summer day - hot & sunny! Fortunately we were able to find shady spots in the yard, as the sun was simply TOO hot to sit in for very long!

We feasted on bakery pizza (my favorite!), a variety of chips, brownies & danish - everything was delicious!

Brandon & Sarah kept Kyle occupied for much of the day. Sometimes you don't even notice the age difference between the 3 kids! Brandon & Kyle played croquet & chased each other around the yard. Sarah & Kyle made use out of Sarah's "Little Cottage" playhouse which I think is Kyle's most favorite thing to play with when we visit. He loves "pretend play"!

The babies were all a delight to be around: Beth's new baby Ellie (who is the spitting image of Harry) is one of the most laid back babies I've ever known. When she's not eating or sleeping she's smiling away! Brad & Gina's babies - Valerie & Natalie - are simply adorable!! It's so cute to see how Natalie's face lights up when she sets eyes on her "older" (and by older I mean just 14 months older!) sister!

My sister in law Melanie decided to leave her kids - Lawrence & Michelle - with her mom for the afternoon which gave her a much needed break! As most of you know, Melanie is also pregnant - due at the end of August. She was able to sit & relax for a few hours - something she rarely gets a chance to do seeing as how she's mom to a 6 yr old & a 2 1/2 yr old!

My Aunt Nancy also came to the shower. We were all very impressed by the fact that she finally owns a digital camera & actually knew how to use it!! :) We're looking forward to seeing her again soon!

We received tons of gifts from everyone..too many to list but here's a few of the items: a vibrating bouncy seat, diapers, bottles, adorable outfits, a pack & play, a baby monitor & more!

The entire day was simply perfect! On our way home we stopped at a Dels Lemonade truck (yummy!) & the funniest thing ever happened. Halfway home Jim hit a pretty big bump in the road..right as Kyle was getting ready to take a sip of his lemonade. The entire frozen treat ended up in his face! It's a good thing laughing doesn't induce labor otherwise I definately would've given birth right there in the car!!! Kyle, of course, did not see the humor. His face was ice cold &...dirty! The minute we got home he ran into the bathroom to shower!

Anyways, I think we're almost ready for the baby to arrive...but not quite yet! We need a few more weeks to get the kids rooms all set and THEN we'll be ready :) Lets just hope Isabella is on the same time table as we are!!
