And so we begin. At first, Kyle was a bit reluctant to give it a shot...
Slowly he decided to give it a try..
But within seconds, and I do mean seconds!, he was on the floor...
He was determined to stand up on his own...
And after many attempts, finally did!!!..but......
It didn't last for long...he was down again in no time!
After 45 minutes he almost had it....almooooost...
But not quite! He just couldn't get his balance!

Hi Jim!When all was said and done we had a very memorable "family" adventure at the RollerSkating rink! Kyle had a lot of fun, despite spending the majority of his time trying to stand up! Clearly he is not ready for rollerskating just yet...but I guess everyone has to start somewhere, right?!
Finally, after over a year, Jim finished painting the trim around the house!!!
Kyle did a few touch-ups as well! He did a great job too!
Here is Kyle with his newest friend - Jaianna!
Jaianna is in the same class as Kyle at Nursery School! This was the first time we've ever had a "girl" friend come over to play! Luckily, Jaianna has a younger brother so playing with "boy" toys didn't bother her in the least! As you can see from the picture - the kids got along wonderfully & they are both eagerly anticipating their next playdate!

I haven't rollerskated in sooo long. Probably since the Harrison Avenue pole-in-the-cellar days. Next I want to see that boy on ice skates!!!! Can't wait to see you this weekend!
