This Nurse Is On Vacation!

After having helped nurse all 3 kids and my husband back to good health this week, I would like to officially announce that This Nurse Is On Vacation!
I am so happy that our nightmarish, awful week has finally come to an end.  Today was the first day (in well over a week) that everyone woke up happy, hungry and healthy.  Thank God!  Trying to meet everyone's constant demands under "normal" circumstances is difficult enough without having to factor in the needs of someone who isn't feeling well.

I spent some time last night putting together the kids Easter Baskets for Sunday so it's one less thing I'll need to do over the weekend.  I'll fill the Easter Eggs tonight.  I'm going to fill some extras to bring to Jim's parents on Sunday, since they usually have an Egg Hunt there as well.

We're all looking forward to what should be a fun-filled weekend.  We'll be going to Lawrence's 11th Birthday Party tomorrow afternoon.  Kyle had a great time picking him out a couple of gifts!

The school kids are on April Vacation now, so I won't have Tommy here for a while.  Kyle is super close to finishing up the 4th grade now, so I'm going to try not to give him any more days off unless need be.  We fell a little behind due to everyone being sick, but we're back on track now.  My goal is to be finished by the 1st of May.  In order to reach this goal I think I may need to have Kyle do just one extra page per day.  I don't think he'll be too upset about that, because he's just as anxious to finish up as I am!  Next week I'm going to put together my end of year progress report and letter of intent to homeschool both kids for next year so that I can submit it to the school early.  Last year I kept procrastinating and waited until the last possible minute.
