3 Months Old!

At 3 months old: I smile all the time! I especially like to smile when Mama asks me "Whatcha doing?" (What do you think I'm doing, Mama? I'm laying here looking around. The same thing I do every day!) & when Daddy says "Who's my pretty girl, Who is she?" (My name is Isabella, Daddy. Duhhh!) & when Kyle touches his nose against mine. (Sometimes I'm worried that he might head butt me but so far that hasn't happened, yet!)

At 3 months old: I weigh approx 13 lbs. Everyone calls me fat! Everyone except for Mama that is. Mama says I'm healthy & pleasantly plump. Mama understands!

At 3 months old: I have blue eyes (Everyone is starting to think that they will stay blue, too! Maybe I inherited Daddy's beautiful blue eyes!) Unfortunately they are not light enough to show up on the camera yet. But they're getting there!

My hair is three different colors. It's dark brown streaked with light brown & has red highlights. I have lots of hair. Seriously, lots of hair. Out of control crazy hair, as Mama calls it!

At 3 months old: I drink 3-4 oz of formula every 3 hours between 4am-8p. My pediatrician says that he would like me to drink more but I'm content with what I'm drinking for now. After all, I am fat. Right? Hee hee! Maybe soon I will start to drink more. We'll see! I have to take some yucky tasting medicine (Zantac), 2-3 times per day for acid reflux I'm a good girl & always take my medicine without fussing. Anything is better than heartburn! Again, Mama understands!
Here's Auntie Carole feeding me :)

At 3 months old: I'm officially sleeping thru the night. Actually, I was 9 weeks old when I first started to sleep straight thru the night. I usually go to bed around 7:30-8p & wake up around 4-4:30a for a quick diaper change & feeding. Then I go back to sleep until around 7'ish. I know how to get myself to sleep. I like to suck on my hand. I'm trying really hard to find my thumb. Sometimes I get lucky. Sometimes I take a pacifier, but only when I'm in the swing or car seat. I sleep on my belly. Mama says that the pediatrician told her that sleeping on my belly is not safe. But I can lift my head up & move it from left to right. And I'm most comfortable on my belly. And if someone puts me on my back I'll just flip over to my belly anyways because...at 3 months old I can roll over :) I've actually been rolling over since I was 5 weeks old.

At 3 months old: My brother doesn't always like me, but I know he loves me. Even though I sometimes hear him telling Mama to sell me. Mama tells me that he's just a little jealous. Sometimes I hear him telling Mama that I'm the perfect princess. I wish that I could tell him that he's the perfect prince!

At 3 months old: I really like to watch the mobile in my crib. The lady bugs going 'round & 'round make me smile real big!

At 3 months old: I love to sit in my bouncy seat & swat at the toys - soon I'l be able to grab onto them! For now I'm content with just smiling at the orange lion.

At 3 months old my BFF is Eleanor Golden. Everyone calls her Ellie. Ellie is only a few months older than I am but she's much bigger! She has very long legs!! (Mine are pretty short!) Ellie likes to pull my hair & then laugh at me when I cry. I think Ellie is just jealous because she doesn't have much hair...

But I love her lots anyways! Soon we'll be getting into all SORTS of trouble together!

At 3 months old: I am bringing a whole lot of love into a family that is already over-flowing with love. I'd like to think that I complete my family, and in many ways I know that me & my brother do, but Mama is already telling Daddy how much she misses being pregnant & how she wants "just one more"... You know what I think though? I think Mama has completely lost her mind! How is it possible that she's already forgotten how sick I made her, how much heartburn I caused her to have & how she repeatedly told Daddy, over and over again during my birth, that she would NEVER EVER EVER have another baby again?

Very sweet. Life looks good at 3 months old. I agree that she is keeping the baby blues. They were blue, not gray, weeks ago. Thanks for sharing.

WOW honey at first I thought she looked like you all day....now I must say that she is starting to resemble daddy A LOT! She is absolutely beautiful! And as a mom of 2 chunka babies she is perfect just the way she is....I can not believe how much she has grown and changed.
