Big House Project '09

Construction is officially underway at the Vargas household! Jim, along with his eager helper Kyle, have been working upstairs a lot lately!! $1500 worth of wood has been purchased & should be arriving any day now. Jim took the week of May 16th off - he hopes to get the roof off & the addition closed in during that time. Keeping fingers crossed that all goes as planned :)

Kyle is SUCH a great helper - he's always right there to hand Jim the tools he needs etc!

Jim allowed Kyle to drill some nails into a few pieces of wood. Kyle later told me he was practicing for when HE builds an addition someday!

I absolutely LOVE this picture of Father & Son! You can really see just how much they enjoy working on projects together! Jim has such great patience too..he really takes the time to explain every little thing he is doing to Kyle. I truly believe that someday Kyle really WILL be able to build whatevever he wants!
