Last week Kyle completed his very first book report - "Charlottes Web". He enjoyed the story and did an excellent job on his book report! He's learned how to (properly) use commas and is starting to use bigger words when he writes now, which makes his work pretty interesting! Both Jim and I were very impressed with how well his book report came out so we decided to surprise him with a trip to the Collings Foundation on Saturday.
The Collings Foundation hosted a "Living History" event - They displayed original equipment from WWII, M1 Rifles, Cars, Cannons, the works! They had a "Battle For Airfield" reenactment, too. If you know Kyle, then you know how much he LOVES Army tanks, gear, weapons etc so we knew this would be a great surprise for him! It was a gorgeous morning and a great father/son experience!
Jim took some nice pictures:
