On Sunday Jim and I took Kyle and Andrew to the Seekonk Speedway Thrill Show! It was
very hot, but we all had an amazing time!!
This was Andrew's first time going to the Speedway! He had a
blast! He was so excited to watch the cars and trucks race and crash!
2 hours into the races and Kyle had officially lost his voice from cheering so loudly!!
The boys spent the evening dining on pizza, chocolate chip cookies, chips, candy and soda.. lots of "exceptions" for this special, memorable day!
The weather this week has been picture perfect - bright, sunny, blue skies! As usual we've been taking advantage of our summer days by having as much fun as possible as we can out in the backyard!
The Winer family gave this 3 racer Slip N Slide to Kyle for his birthday and boy is it getting a lot of use! The kids
love it!
Kyle's new favorite thing to do is to vacuum the pool. I have to admit, the pool has never looked so clean before! It's sparkling!
His buddy Kyle came over to play for the morning. Both Kyle's spent lots of time swimming around in the pool!
Bella is now quite comfortable in the pool and enjoys floating around with her life jacket on!
Savannah turned 11 months old yesterday! She's definitely looking (and acting!) more like a toddler than a baby these days. She's a walking, talking little ball of energy :)
Who needs the beach?
Myles came to visit us today, too! He is so sweet with Bella!!
In other news, Savannah is going through some serious teething pains lately. Her two eye teeth are about to cut through any day now and her gums are very swollen and painful looking. She was super grumpy today but I did manage to coax a few smiles out of her!
All in all our summer remains the same - spending lots of time out in our sunny backyard, soaking up these beautiful summer days! It's the same story, but a different day... and really, it's the best story of our lives!
