This morning I was greeted with the challenging task of getting all of us out the door by 8:45a. I woke up to the sounds of wind, rain & thunder..nasty weather to have to go out in but Savannah needed to get to her 9 month check-up & Jim had to finish a job over in Fall River..
By 8:00a everyone was fed & dressed. I quickly made Kyle a lunch & he went off with Jim to Fall River while I got the girls ready to go to the doctor's office. Luckily Bella was in an exceptionally good mood; she was very happy to be wearing her rain boots & was looking forward to playing with the (germ-infested) toys at the doctor's. We actually got out the door much sooner than I had anticipated, so I actually had time to stop for gas (which was a very good thing, seeing as how the van was on empty..).
Savannah's appointment went very well! At 9 months old she is 27 1/2" long. She weighed in at 17 lbs, 10 oz - such Chubbalicious Cuteness!
She's a few inches too long for her infant car seat, so it looks like I'll need to pack it away & invest in a toddler seat for her. I'm kind of sad about this -- my baby is growing up way too fast!
At 9 months old she is crawling, standing & waving. She can say "Hi", "Mom", "Mama", "Dada" & constantly babbles to herself.
She is eating 3 meals per day: cereal + fruit for breakfast, fruit + veggies for lunch & fruit + veggies for dinner. In between her meals she is drinking a total of 4 bottles per day - about 25-26 oz of formula.
She puts everything into her mouth, so I'm constantly sweeping the floors & reminding the older two to please make sure they don't play with "little" toys around her.
She is an excellent sleeper - she takes 2 naps per day & then goes to bed at 7:30p. She usually wakes up around 6:00a.
She sleeps on her belly or her side & sucks her thumb w/ a "blankie" (it's similiar to the burp cloths Bella uses for a "blankie")
She is an absolute joy to be around - lots of smiles & giggles! She's very playful & loves to laugh!
She's 100% Healthy
100% Perfect
and 100% Cute!
