Fun In Vermont

Here are some pictures from our last trip to Wilmington, Vermont!
Kyle kept busy with his Lego's - one of his favorite things to play with these days:

No more bottles for Princess Bella! She drinks from a sippy cup now:

Kyle was super excited when we told him that he was finally old enough to sleep on top of one of the bunk beds! When he was a toddler & first moved to a big bed we bought these bed rails. I'm glad we kept them:

Brother, Sister & Dog hanging out:

During one of Bella's naps Jim & Kyle decided to go hiking. It was a nice break for me - I sat on the deck & read a book while Bella slept. As for Jim & Kyle..well they had a blast out in the woods!
Gotta make sure you wear a hat when hiking through the Vermont woods - lots & lots of bugs:

Kyle spotted a baby toad:

Before we had kids, Jim & I climbed that big tower. It goes pretty high up & leads to a spectacular view:

Jim only let Kyle climb up half way. If you know Kyle, then you know that he's pretty clumsy. And it's a lonnnnnnnnnnnng way down if you fall off of this tower!!

Here's a great view, looking up at the tower:

I was quite surprised to see this picture -- I can't believe Jim let Kyle cross this rickety old bridge that only has one side to it!!!!:

I can almost hear what Kyle is thinking in this picture: "What's the problem, Mama? I'm big enough to cross this bridge! See?"

Later that day we took both of the kids to the river for some fun:

The water was warm:

Then we went swimming in the pool:

We missed the 4th of July party in Vermont. This was all that remained - a bunch of empty beer boxes!:

Daddy & Bella relaxin':

More fun with Lego's:

Daddy had fun with Lego's too:

2 out of 3 were pretty tired:

Fun with the Frisbee:

One happy baby!

Some snuggles with Grampy:

Course, the trip wouldn't be complete without some ATV riding:

All in all, we had a wonderful trip!
