Sunday, August 2, was a very exciting day for Jim & I. Not only did it mark our first wedding anniversary, but Isabella & I were also discharged from the hospital!

Shortly after we were married we decided to try for another child. It wasn't long before Isabella was created...

Upon discovering the exciting news that we were going to have a little girl we decided it was time to expand the house. Jim set to work on some creative plans to put an addition onto the house & within WEEKS (with lots of help) these plans became a reality.

And while I don't have any pictures uploaded yet, there's also a new bathroom & a playroom in the making!
In Jim's "spare" time he built a sandbox for Kyle..

And a tree fort! Soon the roof will go up on the fort & then Kyle has some big plans to paint it..camoflouge of course! The tree fort not only has a ladder, but a slide as well, thanks to our good friends Josh & Beth!

Here's Kyle testing the height..making sure it wasn't TOO high..!

So far Kyle & Bella look NOTHING alike..Bella looks more like me & the "Borrelli" kids. I see a lot of my younger sister Leslee in her. Something about those beady little eyes!

My life is perfect, thanks to these 3 special people..

Father & Daughter

Bella was not particularly pleased to be wearing clothes when it came discharge time! But look at how darn cute she looks!!!

Here are some photo's taken at home

Grampy meets Bella for the first time:

It's awesome to see that smile on Grampy's face. He's had quite a year himself, battling colon cancer. To date, he is cancer free & enjoying every second of life! Way to go, Dad!

I stare at my daughter ALL the time. I'm still in shock, and in awe!, that she was IN me & that she's here now!

Although we were only in the hospital for 2 days I was SO happy to come home. I felt incomplete without Jim & Kyle by my side, even though they came to visit frequently, it just wasn't the same! I hated being without them for even a second & couldn't wait for us all to be together as a family :)

Isabella is looking for milk in all the wrong places...

Our little Bella Bug....

So, as you can now see, it's been an eventful, enjoyable, happy year for us! It's funny - every day I think to myself "is it possible to be so happy?" & every day just keeps on getting better & better! I fall in love with my husband, all over again!, every time I look at Kyle & Isabella. It's endless...
What a year we've had! First, let me share a few of our wedding photo's! As most of you already know, the weather was anything but nice - lots of rain (maybe even some hail at one point??) but I think the smiles on our faces say it all...absolutely nothing can get in the way of true love :)

Kyle's new room was finished just in time before Isabella decided to make her appearance!

As summer (and heat/humidity) set in my pregnancy became more & more difficult. By 35 weeks I was feeling very uncomfortable & was sick all the time again. At 36 weeks my Dr thought for sure that I was going to have the baby early. She was very low & I was showing all the typical signs of going into premature labor. At 37 weeks my Dr was shocked that I still hadn't gone into labor & insisted that I'd never make it to 38 weeks.
At 38 weeks, 2 days Isabella Francine Vargas was born!
Although she looks so small, to me she looks BIG to have been inside of me!!!
