Please excuse the "comb over" hair-do. After her tubby Kyle wanted to brush her hair. Isabella has the craziest hair ever. It's either sticking straight up in spikes or it looks like she has a mohawk! The comb-over look is clearly not much better, hahaha!!

Nana came over to spend some quality time with both of her grandchildren. Kyle did not want his photo taken. He was too busy playing with his Transformer toys! As you can see, Isabella is very alert when she's awake. She makes direct eye contact with whoever is holding her -- so sweet!!

Even her Dr was very impressed with how alert she is & also with how strong she is. When she's awake she is constantly moving her legs & arms. She can also lift her head up & move it from left to right already!

Over the past two weeks we've fallen into a fairly good routine. Isabella eats every 3 hours 'round the clock, rarely missing a feeding! I'm a bit sleep deprived but really I don't mind the evening feedings. Usually she goes right back to sleep after she's finished. During the morning/afternoon she's been having more & more "awake" time, sometimes staying up for as long as 3 hours at a time!! But this varies on a daily basis. Sometimes she sleeps pretty much all the time, waking only to eat! I'm still amazed that we're now the proud parents of a little girl. We're truly enjoying every moment because we know all too well how quickly she will grow up, just like her big brother!
Speaking of her big brother - Kyle has FINALLY gotten over his fear of the pool!! For the longest time he wouldn't even step foot into it. Slowly I got him to at least sit on the ladder to get his feet wet. Then, just this past weekend, he decided to take the "plunge". He still held onto the ladder, but would get his whole body wet & even put his face into the water. And now, today, he exclaimed "I'm going to be brave. Watch me now!"...
