Happy Birthday, Jim!

Jim turned 33 yesterday! His birthday was made extra special when our new beautiful niece, Julianna Angelina Vargas (6 lbs, 2 oz) was born around 3:30am, sharing a birthday with her Uncle Jimmy!!
We can't wait to meet Julianna in person! There's only a 4 week age difference between her & Isabella :)

While Jim slept, Kyle & I hit the kitchen & made him a big birthday breakfast..

Jim was pretty happy to receive his breakfast of coffee, an egg omelet, breakfast toast & homefries! Good Job, Kyle!

After breakfast Kyle presented Jim with the birthday card & pictures he made for him!

Pictures of flatbeds & big trucks, of course..

Although Kyle still does not hold his markers/pens/pencils properly, he has become quite a good writer!!

Afterwards I gave Jim his big birthday gift..

A new paintball gun combo set! Jim was pretty happy to receive this gift! He has two paintball guns, but they are used & not in very good condition. As most everyone knows, Jim rarely buys anything "new". He's known for buying things used (or getting things for free!) & fixing them (especially when it comes to "toys") so I thought it'd be nice for him to get something brand new for a change! Of course, I don't know when he's going to find the time to go play - now that we have 2 kids & numerous house projects going on but at least when he IS able to play he has a good "weapon" :)

I forgot my camera when we headed over to Jim's parents to congratulate his brother David on the birth of his 3rd baby. David was there picking up his other 2 munchkins - Lawrence & Michelle - who had slept over Nana & Papa Joe's. After David packed up his kids & left Jim's parents took us out to Pub 99 for a birthday lunch. It was delicious, as always! Then, before Jim had to leave for work, Kyle & I gave him a little cake.

Bella was up a lot during the night so she slept for most of the day, hence the lack of pictures of her!

Here's some pictures of Jim giving her a bath, after she had yet another diaper malfunction! She really wasn't too pleased about having this bath because it was time for her to eat & when Bella wants to eat, Bella wants to eat NOW!

After her bath & some warm milk she did what most of us would love to do - NAP! She is SO strong that she can already roll herself onto her belly (from a side position)

We ended the day by having dinner with Jim at his work (again, I forgot my camera). All in all, I think Jim had a well deserved wonderful birthday!
