Something To Pass The Time..

We took full advantage of the beautiful weather on Sunday & spent most of the day outside in the yard. Jim decided it was time to put some of the wood (left over from the construction job) to use. He built Kyle a sandbox..

Kyle was very pleased with the end result! He played in the sandbox for 2 1/2 hours straight!! I figured he'd love it, seeing as how he's been digging up the yard with his dump trucks lately..!

Jim has already started his next "project" - he is building Kyle a tree fort/house. It's a great way to use up some wood, that's for sure!

I'm still hanging in there! Last wednesday our Dr told us that I'd probably go into labor before the weekend was over. Apparently his educated guess was wrong. While I've been having contractions they are nothing worth mentioning. Some are painful, but most are not. They aren't regular yet either. I've been feeling nauseous again - so I'm sure something is going on but who knows when this little munchkin will make her appearance. I can't imagine it will be much longer. At least I hope it won't be much longer. My body is tired of carrying around all this extra weight now. I spend most of my time sitting around because there's not much else I CAN do! I rely on Jim & Kyle to help me out as much as possible. I'm swollen from my hands to my feet which is uncomfortable. And while I try not to feel miserable it's kind of out of my control at this point! Lack of sleep & energy do not make for a good combination! I've given up hopes of ever sleeping..now I focus on just getting comfortable enough to "rest" whenever possible!

The end of pregnancy is always the worst. It's like time has completely stopped!! Knowing labor will come within the next few weeks is somewhat reassuring though! Until then I'll continue to take pictures of my boys to pass the time :)
