Oh Boy,....!

I love this first picture, although at first glance it's hard to make out....it's a picture of the right arm/hand, fully extended (you can actually see the bone!!) and if you look close you can make out some of the fingers. The baby decided to give a "thumbs up" (yes, look closely and you can see the thumb up in the air) when the doctor announced "It's A Girl!!!!!" I could actually tell that the baby was a girl long before the doctor told us. While she was very dainty with her feet crossed over one another at the ankles her legs were WIDE OPEN. There was no mistaken her gender at that point!

And here's our daughter! Unfortunately she was moving around quite a lot, so it was hard to get any "good pictures" of her. She was constantly stretching her legs and kicking her feet so really all you can make out in this picture is her profile, but thats okay! The ultrasound itself was SPECTACULAR to see!! We could see everything from her spine to the bones in her fingers, arms and legs. We got a great view of the heart and were told that she is growing perfectly normal and healthy right now!!! We do have to go back in 2 weeks for another ultrasound where the cardiologist will perform an echocardiogram just to MAKE SURE that the valves in her heart are functioning properly. Hopefully we'll get some clearer pictures of her too!
